Biografía
A Skylit Drive es un sexteto de Post-Hardcore de Lodi, California. Sus miembros originales se conocieron mientras asistían a Lodi High School en Lodi. Excepto Corey Laquay (bateria), quien asistía a Franklin high en Elk Grove, California, donde también iba Matt Mingus, baterista de «Dance Gavin Dance». Su primer EP, "She Watched the Sky", fue lanzado en el 2007. Luego la banda hizo un tour con bandas como «Four Letter Lie», «Blessthefall», «Scary Kids Scaring Kids», «Greeley Estates», «Oh Sleeper», «The Blackout», «Alesana», «Before Their Eyes», «Dance Gavin Dance», «Kenotia», «Pierce the Veil» y «From First to Last». Jordan Blake deja la banda por ahí por Noviembre del 2007 por seguir otros intereses musicales, problemas y sensaciones de tensión con otros miembros de la banda. Jonny Craig de «Emarosa» lo reemplazó por un corto período de tiempo mientras buscaban otra voz. Michael «Jag» Jagmin proveniente de «Odd Project», reemplazará a Blake permanentemente en la voz. El album "Wires… and the Concept of Breathing" aparece en Mayo del 2008 y obtiene el numero 171 en el Billboard 200 de USA. El 9 de Diciembre del 2008 lanzan su primer DVD titulado "Let Go Of The Wires" y el 19 de Diciembre del 2008, anuncian que A Skylit Drive será parte del Vans Warped Tour 2009. Además de un gran tour en primavera en el que estará acompañado de excelentes bandas como Attack Attack!, I See Stars, In Fear And Faith y Dance Gavin Dance.
